Tuesday Night Road or Trail Rides

Trail Route: Follow Bike St. Louis route to Grant’s Trail. Choose your own mileage up to 20 miles on flat terrain.
Road Route: 25 miles. A challenging, moderately hilly bike ride for experienced cyclists through Kirkwood that travels to Ballwin and Valley Park. There is no SAG support on these rides.

Wednesday Night Road Rides

Routes: Choose from 14, 24 or 29 miles
Terrain: Moderately hilly with some bigger hills on the long route
Features: A ride for adults, on low traffic streets within the Central Metro Corridor, finishes before dark. Routes are marked, maps provided, no SAG support.

  Thursday Night Road Rides
May 6 – August 26, 2010

Start: Des Peres City Park parking lot, next to St. Paul’s Church
1380 N Ballas Rd.
St. Louis, MO 63131(one block east of I-270 at Manchester Rd)

Routes: Choose from 14– 24 miles
Terrain: Moderately hilly with some bigger hills
Features: Challenging bike ride for adults on low traffic streets of Des Peres, Ladue, and Kirkwood. The route includes an ice cream stop. There is no SAG support on these rides.

Terrain: Flat to rolling with a few moderate hills
Features: This group-ride is an easy pedal that includes a mixture of road and trail, including Grant’s Trail. No drops, no rider left behind. There is no SAG support on these rides.

Anchored by Crown Candy
1401 Saint Louis Ave., St. Louis, MO 63106

Route: 7-miles, mostly flat except for the climb up the trestle
Features: Group-led interpretive tour of the Old North St. Louis neighborhood, including the Trestle at Branch Street and McKinley Bridge Bikeway, with stops for historical and architectural interpretation. Complete the route on your own or join the group-led interpretive tour. The last stop is Crown Candy (buy your own) and finishes before dark. Helmets required.
