Routes: Choices of 7 – 28 miles
Terrain: Flat, with a few small hills
Features: Scenic ride along the St. Louis Riverfront Trail. The routes follow the Mississippi River; the longer route crosses the Old Chain of Rocks Bridge and returns back. SAG support provided until 8:15 PM

Routes: 7 miles, two rides will be interpretive tours of the Old North St. Louis Neighborhood and two rides will travel southeast into Illinois.
Terrain: Mostly flat except for the climb up the trestle
Features: Group-led interpretive tour with stops for historical and architectural interpretation

Terrain: Moderately hilly with some bigger hills on the long route
Features: Bike ride for experienced riders through Kirkwood and Webster Groves with a challenging long route to Ballwin and Valley Park. No SAG support on these rides.

Wednesday Night
Hike It, Bike It or Cave It
August 19, September 16 & October 21, 2009

Start: Cliff Cave Park; 806 Cliff Cave Road, St. Louis, MO 63129

Hike It & Bike It Routes: 5-mile paved Mississippi River Trail (loop trail or choose your distance out and back) or the 1.4-mile spur trail.
Cave It Route: Explore the cave, the park’s namesake. Pre-registration is required at 314/615-8481 for the caving program. Equipment is provided to cavers, maximum number for the tour is 15. There is a $5 per person charge for the cave tour. Be prepared to get wet, there is a spring in the cave - wear old shoes.
Features: The 5-mile Mississippi River Trail was paved in partnership with The Great Rivers Greenway District and St. Louis County Parks. Additional improvements in the park include a pavilion, river overlooks, restrooms and improved parking.
Fees: Hike It or Bike It is FREE; $5 charge for Cave It. Pre-registration is required at 314/615-8481 for Cave It program.

Terrain: Moderately hilly, with a few big hills
Features: A ride for adults, on low traffic streets within the Central Metro Corridor, finishes before dark. Routes are marked, maps provided.
There is no SAG support on these rides.

Terrain: Moderately hilly with some bigger hills
Features: Challenging bike ride for adults on low traffic streets of Des Peres, Ladue, and Kirkwood. The route includes an ice cream stop. There is no SAG support on these rides.

Carondelet Trail and Road Ride

Terrain: Flat to rolling with a few moderate hills
Features: This group-ride is an easy pedal that includes a mixture of road and trail, including Grant’s Trail. No drops, no rider left behind. There is no SAG support on these rides.
