Rail to Katy Trail Ride
June 30, 2018 @ 8:00 am - July 1, 2018 @ 5:00 pm
Event Navigation

Due to the excessive heat warning for this weekend we have postponed the ride until June 29-30, 2019.
A multimodal, multiday extravaganza starting at the St. Louis Premium Outlets in Chesterfield.
This ride has it all — friendship, camaraderie, cold beer, great food, scenic views, and live music — all on a two-day adventure through the Missouri river valley. Starting on Saturday morning at the St. Louis Premium Outlets in Chesterfield, you’ll hop on your bike and take a leisurely ride on the Katy to Marthasville. Enjoy the scenic ride through Missouri wine country with stops in iconic railroad towns, including Defiance, Augusta, Dutzow and Peers. We haul your gear and give you full SAG support on your ride.
The party begins when you arrive at Boone Monument Village, our overnight destination. After checking into your room, tent or teepee and have a refreshing shower, grab a cold Trailnet 30 pilsner, compliments of UCBC, and kick back next to the fire. Dinner will be served at 6, and live music starts at 7. Enjoy a peaceful night relaxing by the fire, sharing stories with your fellow riders, and simply enjoying the beautiful Missouri countryside in the land of Boone. Awake to coffee and breakfast the next morning, take your time exploring the grounds, and ride triumphantly back to Chesterfield with your friends, new and old!
Mileage: Day 1: 33 miles, Day 2: 25 miles
Terrain: Flat

Saturday Ride | 4/7/18 | 7:30 am | 40 W. Lockwood Ave, St. Louis | 18, 26, 30 | This ride heads westward from the shop, and uses cycling compatible roads in Webster Groves, Kirkwood, and Ladue. There are three different start times to accommodate beginner, intermediate, and advanced riders. Many newer riders advance through the groups as their familiarity and riding skills grow.
