Environmental History Ride
October 27, 2019 @ 9:00 am - 3:00 pm
Join us and The Missouri Historical Society on this fun 12-mile bike ride. Travel city streets from Forest Park to the Mississippi River with a rest stop and visits to important environmental history sites along the way. A shorter route of 6 miles will also be available through Forest Park. The ride will celebrate Wayne Goode, a Lecturer in Law and Environmental Engineer with the Washington University Law School’s Interdisciplinary Environmental Clinic. Goode also co-founded Trailnet’s board of directors and helped build the Katy Trail.
This slow roll ride through city streets is for bicycle riders of all experiences and comfort. Participants should dress appropriately and bring a bottle for water.
Participants will meet at the Missouri History Museum starting at 9 a.m. The bike ride will start at 9:30 a.m.
