Do you worry about your safety on St. Louis area streets?
Many streets in our region are designed to prioritize vehicles instead of creating safe spaces for all ages and abilities. The high number of car crashes involving people on foot and on bike has led the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration to designate St. Louis as a Focus City for greater investment in road safety.
Connecting St. Louis is Trailnet’s plan to make the region a place where everyone can travel safely through a network for walking and biking that connect neighborhoods, educational institutions, cultural districts and business centers. Citizens in communities like Clayton, Kirkwood and Tower Grove are advocating for safer streets in their neighborhoods.
Join Ralph Pfremmer, Trailnet’s CEO, and Harold Sanger, Mayor of Clayton for an interactive session about how YOU can get involved in YOUR community and make YOUR voices heard in planning local development.
