This project has taken shape around the school campuses in Hillsboro, Missouri, specifically the intersection of Business 21 and Leon Hall Parkway. This intersection is the city’s major thoroughfare and the entrance for all of the students attending school in Hillsboro. Hillsboro was the recipient of federal Transportation Alternatives Program funding to build a path (sidewalk) from Business 21 west to the High School and Primary School campuses. Trailnet is collaborating with Hillsboro City Staff and community members to improve the safety of pedestrian and bike infrastructure at the intersection and corridors leading to the schools.
